Resting In The Arms of Winter
|
A Naturist Kundalini Yoga Experience and Workshop
There is often a resistance to greeting Winter with a bright smile. We would rather turn away from it, go abroad to 'catch some sun', immerse ourselves in the busyness of the festive season and distract ourselves from the cold, dank and dark days that stretch out now through to March of next year.
And yet, here she is, her arms open, beckoning us to go to her, to rest deeply. As all else in nature responds to this season by sleeping more and doing less, we fight it... "Life must go on" is our battle cry as we set our alarms and attempt to do just as much as we do in the lighter days of Spring and Summer. And there is some truth, we do still have our daily obligations to attend to, yet we have far mess energy at our disposal. As we push on we become more susceptible to coughs and colds and other illnesses that strike when our reserves are low.
So how do we find the balance? How do we do what needs to be done AND hear the wisdom of the season?
Come along to this deeply restorative day where we will explore how to give ourselves little energy boosts, and how to optimise on rest times, going deeper into relaxation so we can be fully restored, leanring too how to appreciate the tender beauty this season has to offer.
Come, come Rest in the Arms of Winter.
